Kannan K is Director at Marsh Inda Insurance Brokers Private Limited, which is an Internationally acclaimed Risk and Insurance intermediary.
He leads the Corporate Segment (Property Lines) for the company and also is the Business Leader for Marsh’s TN operations.
He has over 35 years of extensive experience in the General Insurance Industry across all branches like Property, Casualty, Construction, Liability, Crime, Health, Retail lines etc.
Kannan started his career at United India Insurance Company where he effectively managed all departments and completed his 19-year journey there as the head of one of the largest Divisional Offices in South India. Since 2004, Kannan has been in the Insurance broking industry. He has been an integral part of the senior management teams for notable companies like Willis, Almondz Insurance Brokers and Prudent Insurance Brokers before joining Marsh.
Some of his notable achievements include successfully designing and implementing innovative risk management and insurance solution for various clients in infrastructure, retail and energy sector and advising on claims.

Mr Subramanian is an experienced Insurance & risk Management Professional. He has over 30 years of experience from the General Insurance Industry, having associated with leading PSU & Private General Insurance companies in India and also had overseas industry experience of over 9 years, managing an Agency of one of the leading Insurance Companies in the UAE for a big Corporate Group. While in UAE, he was recognised as an Expert in Insurance by the Insurance Authority of UAE.
He is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India (FIII), a Certified Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management, (CFIRM), London, a Member of Regional Interest Group (RIG) of Institute of Risk Management for India and a First-Class Post graduate in Marine Geology (M.Sc.) from the University of Cochin.
He has founded CREAM Advisory LLP, a partnership company, in Chennai jointly with an erudite and experienced Technologist from a well-known Earth Moving Heavy Engineering Equipment Manufacturer, for providing Risk and Opportunities Management Advisory Services since 2017. He is also a member of FOCUS Chennai Chapter.
